We believe personal and professional growth are not mutually exclusive. At imageOne we want each person to realize their potential in all aspects in life. That’s why we have every team member complete a yearly exercise called a Vision and Goals Worksheet. This gives you the opportunity to think about what your life looks like within the next year, three years, and five years. Your manager will regularly discuss your personal and professional goals, offering guidance and focus on your development. We also believe in the importance of work-life balance. In addition to a generous paid time off program, each team member receives a day off for their birthday, a day to give back to their community through volunteering, and a surprise day off called We Care Friday!

imageOne practices Open Book Management, a concept derived from the Great Game of Business. Every month, we hold company-wide meetings to connect the team with important announcements. Part of this time is dedicated towards diving into the company’s income statement, balance sheet, and we review the main factors impacting those numbers. We are all encouraged and empowered to make a difference to the bottom line. It doesn’t end there! We also have a company-wide bonus program based on a formula that is usually tied to our net profit. Bonuses are earned quarterly and/or annually if we hit designated goals set by the executive team. We are committed to sharing our success!

We live for feedback from team members.

Part of our culture is to be open and honest which means the lines of communication are always open. One of the platforms we use for feedback is through weekly “Know Your Company” e-mails that feature a thought-provoking question. This could be anything from business-specific questions such as, “Do you have all the tools needed to do your job properly?” to more personal questions like, “Tell us about your first job.” Team members can share their responses with the entire company or privately with only the CEO and President. There are additional opportunities to give your thoughts through various surveys administered throughout the year, ranging from company meeting feedback to our company “Happiness” survey. In addition, every week during leadership meetings, the team reviews a scorecard showing all metrics for the company. Two of the most important metrics are community involvement and “surprise and delights.” Surprise and delights help leaders keep track of how they are further enhancing the lives of our team members in small or big ways.
