Do you still have a security blanket?
Unless you’re Linus from Peanuts, the answer is probably no. But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t encourage your IT department from taking every measure to make sure your data and devices are safe.
Luckily, we’ve got a better security measure than a blanket to help you out. Join us on Friday, June 10 from 11:00AM – 11:45AM EDT for an imageOne Solutions webinar on print security, where we’ll be discussing print security and pull print.
Pull print is known by many other names, and they all smell as sweet: you may have heard it referred to as follow-me printing, badge printing or secure release printing. In a pull print setup, a user’s print job isn’t released as soon as they press Ctrl+P. Instead, their job is released into a single queue. When an employee enters a PIN or scans their badge on any device, their job will be released to that printer. And because printouts won’t be sitting around on the printer, employees will have more control of sensitive information.
What’s more, this pull print model also significantly reduces the amount of wasted print. There’s no more uncollected jobs, so no paper or toner goes to waste. Altogether, this results in lower overall costs and higher security for you and your company.
In this webinar, we’ll be covering what you need to do in order to install a pull print model at your company. We’ll cover:
- Implementing a pull-print solution
- Pulling employee name and badge information
- Embedded software vs. Fast Release setup
- The security and cost savings benefits of a pull print setup
